15 Years of Purpose
In 2011, SJKV was founded with a simple but ambitious vision.
At the time, I was still a university student. I had little experience leading a team and much to learn about building an organisation. What I did have was a clear vision and a strong sense of direction. I wanted to build something meaningful, create opportunities, and prove that age should never limit one's ambition to make a difference. That vision became the foundation of SJKV.
What started as a small venture with a few trusted friends has grown over the past 15 years into a collection of businesses, communities, educational initiatives, and creative projects. Along the way, we experienced successes, setbacks, lessons, and countless moments that shaped who we are today.
Yet through every chapter, our core principles have remained unchanged.
We have always believed in people, often before they believed in themselves. We have always believed that potential cannot be measured solely by academic results, titles, or backgrounds. Given trust, opportunity, and the right environment, people are capable of achieving far more than they imagine.
We have also remained committed to fellowship and community. Many of the opportunities, friendships, partnerships, and ideas that shaped SJKV were built through genuine relationships and a shared desire to grow together.
Looking back, our greatest achievement is not measured by the number of businesses we have built, the awards we have received, or the milestones we have celebrated. It is measured by the people we have journeyed with.
To every team member, student, partner, customer, supporter, family member, and friend who has been part of this story, thank you. Your trust, encouragement, patience, and belief have helped shape SJKV into what it is today.
While much has changed since 2011, our purpose remains the same: to build meaningful ventures, create opportunities, and inspire people to believe in what is possible.
